Asiana Airlines the second largest carrier of South Korea recently announced that it is planning to extensively expand its capacity on the U.S. routes in 2014. The airline has planned to install Airbus A380 aircraft to enhance capacity and run Asiana Airlines flights on routes between the United States and South Korea.


Asiana Airlines has stated that it has already placed orders for six A380 aircrafts and is planning to initially install them on long-haul routes to New York and Los Angeles. The airline is also thinking to run cheap domestic flights on some dense regional routes within north Asia, including Shanghai Pudong, Tokyo Narita and Hong Kong.

CEO of Asiana Airlines stated that they have placed orders for the delivery of 30 Airbus A350 aircrafts, which are scheduled for delivery in the beginning of 2017. The airline has planned to run these aircrafts on regional routes within Asia-Pacific.
